INVERTED BUCKET – STEAM TRAPS
The inverted bucket type of steam trap is created for standard and special applications, designed to the customer’s specifications, welded body.
Steam traps suitable for high pressures and capacities, usable for all applications.
How it works:
- The bucket is placed on the base, the shutter is opened; in the steam trap there is no fluid of any kind.
- Start-up: when the condensate begins to circulate, the bucket is prevented from floating and the steam trap eliminates the excess condensate.
- As the system heats up, the condensate reduces and steam starts to arrive, accumulating inside the vessel, trapped under the inverted bucket, which allows it to float on the condensate and keep the shutter closed.
- As the steam condenses, the bucket sinks, returning to the base of the vessel where it opens the escape valve, permitting the internal pressure to discharge the accumulated condensate.

PRINCIPIO DI FUNZIONAMENTO:
- Il secchiello è appoggiato sul fondo, l’otturatore è aperto, nello scaricatore non è presente alcun tipo di fluido.
- Start-Up: l’entrata in circolo della condensa non permette al secchiello di galleggiare e lo scaricatore elimina la condensa in eccesso.
- Allo scaldarsi dell’impianto, la condensa diminuisce ed inizia ad arrivare il vapore che si accumula all’interno del corpo, intrappolato sotto al secchiello rovesciato. Permettendogli di galleggiare sulla condensa e di mantenere chiuso l’otturatore.
- Il vapore, condensandosi, fa affondare il secchiello, il quale tornando sul fondo del corpo apre la valvola di scarico permettendo alla pressione interna di spurgare la condensa accumulatasi.
